Terms of Service

1. About PrintRight
PrintRight ("the Service") is a web application that helps makers who sell 3D prints track licence compliance and compute print costs. The Service is operated by the PrintRight team ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
3. Plans and billing
The Service offers a free plan (up to 5 models) and a paid Pro plan (unlimited models). Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP inclusive of any applicable taxes.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time via the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
4. Refunds
We do not offer refunds for monthly subscription charges except where required by law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days at hello@printright.app.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service
- Upload malicious content or interfere with the Service's operation
6. Your data
You own the data you enter into PrintRight (model records, listings, settings, etc.). We do not sell your data to third parties. You can export your data at any time via the Settings page and request deletion by contacting us.
7. Disclaimer
PrintRight provides compliance status and pricing suggestions as a tool to assist your own decision-making — it does not constitute legal advice. You are solely responsible for verifying that your listings comply with applicable licences and marketplace rules. We make no warranty that the Service is error-free or that its outputs are accurate in all circumstances.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrintRight's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
